Around the World in 30 Days:Destination One

*The “Around the World in 30 Days” series is dedicated to Belle Roussel of Chop Zuey who has supported and inspired me ever since I met her. Thank you Belle, you’re an incredible woman.

Mr T and I have decided to finally go on our honeymoon. But all he’s told me is that it’s a month long trip around the grid and each destination will be a surprise. So, with all of my favorite Chop Zuey jewellery and suitcases full of clothes from all the best designers such as SASCHA Designs , Mr. H and I hopped on our private jet. I was so excited I could barely sit still as I peered out the window trying to guess where we’d be landing.

Wish You Were Here

Our first destination had us landing at the fabulous LEA14 Wish You Were Here airport. We landed late in the day as the hot sun was beginning to sink into the western mountains. I grabbed the brim of my hat as a breezy gust of wind threatened to take my hat. Mr. T, who’s always the gentleman, kindly helped me disembark the aircraft.

I quickly realized we’d visited this place once before and loved it. It’s a lovely sim that boasts a “collaborative exhibit about First Life and Second Life locations and human connections in both worlds.” This eclectic build includes a full airport terminal, a tarmac that hosts several jets, airplanes, helicopters and even balloon rides. You will also find a beautiful Japanese Garden, a temple, a hidden city and a farm. It’s a wonderful place to explore and seems to evolve each time we visit. We found cool little teleport doors throughout the airport and some little surprises in some of the airplanes. We heard the owner who claimed they’ll be hosting some live music events in the future, so we’ll be sure to return.

Dressed for our dinner date at a famous seafood restaurant, we were looking forward to watching the sunset over the ocean while enjoying a nice glass of crisp Pinot Gris with the restaurant’s world renowned fresh lobster served with a rich crab mousse.

Never Leave Home Without It

Chop Zuey Jewellery is a must when putting together an outfit and I’d feel naked without it. Today I’m wearing the Pentacostal set which comes with several necklaces and bracelets that are meant to be layered. They can be worn all at once or with just a few of the pieces, either way will look equally elegant. The set even comes with two versions of earrings. I’m wearing the smaller of the two sets today. I’m also wearing my favorite Visions of Sugarplums Ring which serves as a wonderful addition to my ensemble. Of course the Bel Aire wedding set which is also from Chop Zuey never leaves my hand.

My Little Red Dress

The mesh red dress called  Fifth Avenue is from one of my most favorite designers, SASCHA DesignsI love this versatile dress so much that I have it in almost every available color.

OMG…the Best Sun Hat Ever!

I found the best sun hat ever and couldn’t wait for spring to arrive so I could wear it. It’s the fabulous Castries sun hat from Couture Chapeau which includes a texture changing HUD for the band . It’s available in four different patterns and I chose the Dots Black and White style. (Full disclosure: The Windlight Setting used for these photos caused this hat to have a brownish hue. The hat’s actually black, white and gray with a red band.)Airport Ava colorized

Style to a T

Mr.T has great style and really knows his suits, opting to wear only the best quality. Today he’s wearing one of my favorites: the Zaara Classic Suit in beige. I think it looks so classy with his Panama hat from Viscon. His exquisitely crafted Traditional Lace up shoes are from ..:L&B:. You’ll notice on his left hand is his Bel Aire wedding band from Chop Zuey, which matches mine.

Cheers to a Bon Voyage

Later that evening, Mr T and I clinked our glasses in a toast to promising new life together and an exciting, romantic trip around the SL world. We hope you’ll enjoying sharing a part of our journey with us.
