I’m taking a photographer course at an incredible school in SL called Visionaire Institute. Last week’s lesson was on Windlight (WL)settings and how they can serve to enhance a photo. This Photo Tool option found at the bottom of the “World” tab in the dashboard of the Firestorm viewer, can serve to enhance a photo and set a tone.
The assignment was to take an identical photo but with four different WL settings in the theme of the four seasons. I decided to challenge myself further by going to a sim with run down city streets enhance the drab city streets. You’ll see the WL’s I chose are from the “TOR” family which are mostly edgy, surreal and brightly colored.

My all time favorite for viewing is Wastelands while for blogs I keep hitting back to StrawberrySingh Close Ups. They are just very nice on the skin.
Neat post, people should indeed use it more !!! ( I do it all the time)
Thanks Em-Lies. I agree that WL’s should be used more. They really are a powerful tool. I haven’t tried the Wastelands WL for my photos yet but I sure will. Yes Strawberries WL’s are awesome!
Cheers,
