It’s almost Valentine’s Day again but I must admit I haven’t much been in the Valentine spirit lately. I mean normally this time of year, I’d be shopping for a new pair of cupid wings or a sexy little lacy number to blog. But nope, I’ve been saying “Bah humbug!” to it all this year. But instead of giving into the temptation of wallowing in self pity, I did what any self-respecting girl does: I went shopping!  (Hooray for chocolate and retail therapy!)

Then something quite unexpected happened: I got magnificently smothered with  A Thousand Kisses.

Note: What’s a “Demi-Parure” you ask? Well, it’s a matching set of jewellery consisting of several pieces – often a necklace, and pair of earrings or bracelet, of course. Thanks Google! (Yes, I had to look it up too!)

Versatile and Beautiful

This set is truly beautiful! I just love that it has a fully loaded texture-changing HUD (see HUD in ad at the bottom of blog). There are six different colors of medal, 10 different bead colors and 8 stones to choose from. The A Thousand Kisses Demi Parure is a fine example of the attention to detail that has made Chop Zuey Jewellery famous. If you look closely, you’ll even see tiny hinges in the corners of the earrings and necklace to allow for movement and contour. Brilliant, Belle!

I’m also wearing one of my absolutely favorite fascinators from Chop Zuey called Baixa de Cassanje. I find myself wearing this head piece quite often as it adds an extra touch of elegance to any look. Now Let’s Talk Boots

I’ve been looking for a unique pair of boots for a long time. So when recently Reign came out with the  the magnificently laced wonders called Kendall Heels  the sky opened up while a choir of angels sung “Hallelujah” and suddenly all was right with the world.  So I promptly grabbed the demo and TP’d home to try them. 

As I was unpacking the box, I was thinking that if I loved them as much as I thought I might, I’d want one in every color. I might even break down and do something I  rarely do–buy a Fatpack!

But get this: The Kendall Heels come with a texture-changing HUD! Yup! You heard right. No need to buy more than one pair. So I slapped those demos on and did the sexiest little happy dance you could imagine. Then I promptly went back to REIGN. and bought myself  a pair.

The Kendall Heels are compatible with: Maitreya, Freya, Hourglass, Isis, Physique, Venus and Blueberry. There are twenty color choices and the option to individually change the color of the main straps, the laces and the metal.

To complete my look, I found a fabulous little sequin dress by Mimikri, a designer I don’t have a lot of experience with yet, but I like what I see and will definitely be going back. The dress is paired with a cute little bomber jacket, which I’ll blog in the near future.

A Valentines Date Destination

If you’d like an intimate and beautiful place to take your Valentine for a romantic slow dance, I’d recommend Ballroom Persona. Here you’ll find 4 differently themed ballrooms: The Rose Room, The Fantasy Room, The Large Ballroom and The Winter Ballroom. These photos were taken in the Fantasy Ballroom (Moon) and the Rose Ballroom (Pink Roses). There are plenty of lovely little sitting/photo op areas as well as dance balls throughout the rooms. (Thankfully, I found them by searching for photographic scenery or I probably never would have stumbled onto this little gem.)
